we love to build
Stellar Construction & Remodeling LLC started in 2008 as a small deck and fence operation out of the Portland area. The founder built it to fund something he loved just as much as building: flying helicopters. For six years, he logged hours in the cockpit while keeping the crew working and the jobs moving on the ground.
Flying sharpened a certain kind of focus. You learn to plan carefully, stay calm under pressure, and never cut corners when the stakes are real. Those habits carried straight back to the jobsite. While the helicopter chapter eventually closed, the construction company never stopped growing.
What started with decks and fences grew naturally into bigger scopes. Clients asked for more, and we said yes. Today we handle full home builds, ADU construction, home additions, kitchen remodels, patio covers, outdoor kitchens, pole barns and shops, concrete work, fencing, excavating, and automatic gate entry systems. If it gets built from the ground up, we want to be the ones building it.
One thing that sets us apart is our equipment. We own excavators and skid steers, which means we handle most of the heavy work in-house instead of subcontracting it out. That keeps the project moving faster and saves our clients real money. From breaking ground to the finished product, we stay involved at every stage.
We serve homeowners and property owners across a wide stretch of the Portland metro and Southwest Washington, including Gresham, Troutdale, Corbett, Damascus, Happy Valley, Clackamas, Lake Oswego, Tualatin, Tigard, Beaverton, Vancouver, and the Portland neighborhoods of Northeast, Southeast, Northwest, and Southwest.
